Vanilla extract1 tablespoon

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F and line 2 baking sheets with cooking spray.
  2. Take flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl to mix gently.
  3. Beat the peanut butter, unsalted butter, and shortening in a large bowl until it is completely smooth (Use an electric mixer for quick work) 
  4. Add brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla to it and beat it until it becomes light and fluffy.
  5. Now add the above-prepared flour mixture in two batches and beat it for a smooth mix. You can add peanut butter chips now.
  6. Slowly scoop out level tablespoons of dough, make them roll into balls, and put them about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake until the bottoms and edges of the cookies are a bit golden brown for about 10 minutes.
  8. Let the cookies cool down a bit and later enjoy the wonderful taste of it. 

2. Peppermint Candy Double-Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients Used:

Unsalted butter8 tablespoons
Light brown sugar1/3 cup
Granulated sugar1/3 cup
Vanilla extract1 teaspoon
All-purpose flour1 cup
Natural cocoa powder1/4 cup

  1. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment.
  2. Mix the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl until fluffy.
  3. Add vanilla and egg to the above-prepared butter mix.
  4. Take flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl to whisk all together.
  5. Combine both the flour and butter mixture. Beat it continuously to have a perfect dough.
  6. Add the chocolate chips and scoop slightly mounded tablespoons of the dough to roll into balls. 
  7. Lay out the balls on the prepared baking sheets and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  8. Now sprinkle some of the crushed peppermint candies on top of each mound of chilled dough.
  9. Bake until the cookies are fully set for around 12 to 15 minutes
  10. Enjoy the delicious cookies with family and friends after cooling.

3. Brown Butter Thumbprints

Ingredients Used:

Unsalted butter8 tablespoons
All-purpose flour2 cups
Baking powder1/2 teaspoon
Ground cardamom1/4 teaspoon
Salt1/4 teaspoon
Superfine sugar3/4 cup
Egg1 large
Jam2/3 cup


  1. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook with continuous swirling of the pan around until the butter smells nutty. Remove it from the heat and let it cool down.
  3. Take a medium bowl, and whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Now in a large bowl, smoothly cream together the above prepared softened browned butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix it well.
  6. Gently pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients slowly and mix them well.
  7. Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes for easier shaping.
  8. Gently roll the chilled dough into 1-inch balls and make an indent in the center of each ball with your thumb. Fill each indent with about ½ teaspoon of jam for a rich filling.
  9. Now bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  10. Let the cookies cool down completely before serving this amazing treat.
